Easy Returns

We stand behind our gear – but we get it, sometimes it’s just not quite right. That’s why we offer two types of returns depending on what you’ve bought.


90-Day Trial Returns - Try It Like You Stole It

All products exc. Inflatable Pontoons come with a 90-Day Free Return Trial, so you can test them out properly. Whether it’s for camping, boating, or backup power at home – try it, and if it’s not a match, send it back free of charge.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Contact us within 90 days of delivery at gday@truegear.com.au with your order number.

  2. We’ll send return instructions and a pre-paid label if required.

  3. Once we receive and inspect the product, we’ll issue your refund and confirm by email. If you covered return shipping upfront, we’ll refund that too.

What’s allowed under the trial?

  • The product can show signs of fair wear and tear from normal use.

  • However, returns will not be accepted if the product has been:

    • Misused or mishandled

    • Used contrary to instructions

    • Physically damaged beyond ordinary use

Items must be returned with all original packaging and accessories.

Not included in the 90-day trial:

  • Inflatable pontoons

  • Products marked as used, demo, or certified pre-owned

  • Purchases intended for temporary use (e.g. events or promos)


30-Day Change-of-Mind Returns – Unused Only

Our secondary policy for inflatable pontoons. If you’ve had a change of heart and the product is completely unused and unopened, you can return it within 30 days of receiving it.

Why unopened? Because once it’s been taken out of the box, it can be hard to return to a sellable state – and that affects its value.

To return:

  1. Email gday@truegear.com.au within 30 days of delivery.

  2. The item must be sealed in its original packaging and in resaleable condition.

  3. Once we inspect and confirm the return, we’ll issue your refund.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that’s damaged, faulty or not what you ordered:

  • Contact gday@truegear.com.au on the day of delivery

  • Include clear photos of the issue and packaging

  • Keep all original packaging

We’ll cover return shipping for approved claims. Just note: damage from misuse or poor handling isn’t eligible.


Warranty

All True Gear products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty claims are handled directly by the supplier, but we’re happy to help coordinate the process. Just shoot us an email if you need help getting started.
