The Bluetti RV5 with 200W Solar Retires the Jerry Cans and the 5am Pull-Start

5,000W Continuous | 5,120Wh LiFePO4 | 200W Solar Panel Included | 5-Year Warranty | Free Delivery Australia Wide

You know the routine. Pull-start the genny at 5am so someone can have a coffee. Ration the battery all afternoon. Take turns with the kettle and the toaster, because both at once trips something.

This one runs your 240V circuits off 5,000W and tops itself back up from the 200W panel while you're at the beach. Toaster and kettle together. No pull cord.

Why Aussie Travellers Rate the Bluetti RV5 RV Power System

You Come Back to a Fuller Battery Than You Left

The 200W PV200 folds out on its own kickstands and plugs straight into the RV5. Set it down facing north before you head off for the day. The RV5 will take up to 1,800W of solar all up, so there's room for plenty more panels when you want them.

"These Never Last a Weekend"

Bluetti publishes the numbers for this exact bundle. 5.5 hours of 13,500 BTU RV air-con. 31.9 hours of an absorption fridge. 4.4 hours of a toaster running flat out. That's before the panel puts anything back in.

"It Won't Run Real Gear"

5,000W continuous. The kettle pulls 2,200W and the microwave 1,500W, so both together still leaves you a quarter of the system's rating spare. Most van inverters stop around 2,000W and make you choose.

It Just Works in the Background

Mounted on the wall and wired through the Epanel, it feeds your existing circuits. When shore power drops it swaps to battery in under 20 milliseconds and nothing in the van blinks. It sips 7W sitting there doing nothing, and the Epad or your phone tells you where everything is at.

Cold Mornings, and Six Thousand Cycles

Below 0°C the B4810's heating film holds the cells near 25°C so it still takes a charge in the high country. IP65 sealed and rated to 6,000 cycles at 70% capacity, which works out to a decade of weekends before you'd think about it again.

Not Sure Which RV Power System Suits You?

One 200W panel is a sensible start, not a full solar setup. On a good day it'll cover the fridge and the lights and chip away at what the kettle took. If you free camp for weeks at a time you'll want two or three panels, or the twin-battery system, or both. If your van already has roof solar, the plain system without the panel might be the smarter buy. Give us a bell and tell us what's on the roof already, and we'll tell you straight what you actually need.

Bluetti RV5 FAQs

How long will this Bluetti RV5 bundle run my gear?

Bluetti publishes figures for this exact configuration. 5.5 hours of a 13,500 BTU RV air-con, 4.3 hours of a 1,200W microwave, 31.9 hours of a 450W absorption fridge, 4.4 hours of a 1,000W toaster, or 3.4 hours of a 1,300W hair dryer. The 200W panel adds to that during daylight.

Is one 200W solar panel enough for the Bluetti RV5?

It is a sensible start rather than a full solar setup. On a good day a 200W panel will cover the fridge and lighting and chip away at what the kettle took. If you free camp for weeks at a time, add a second or third panel. The RV5 accepts up to 1,800W of solar in total, so there is plenty of room to grow.

Which solar panel is included?

The Bluetti PV200, a 200W folding panel that sets up on its own kickstands and plugs straight into the RV5. It is portable, so you can angle it at the sun and leave it out while you take the van somewhere else.

Do I need an electrician to install the Bluetti RV5 in Australia?

Most owners fit it themselves over a weekend. The loom is pre-labelled, the Epanel handles the 240V distribution, and the wiring diagram is in the RV5 manual linked on this page. If you are not confident around 240V, a licensed auto electrician will usually finish it in a day.

Can I still use my existing roof solar with the RV5?

Generally yes, as long as the array sits inside the RV5's input window of 12V to 50V and 50A per input. Give us a call with what is already on your roof and we will tell you whether it will connect straight up or needs rewiring.

What warranty does the Bluetti RV5 come with in Australia?

Five years on the RV5 hub and the B4810 battery. We are an authorised Australian stockist, so warranty claims are handled here rather than through overseas support. Call True Gear on 0476 330 590 with any questions.
