What an inverter compressor changes at night

On the roof, that weight sits high and affects both your payload and how the van behaves in a crosswind. Getting it installed
This is a roof-cut job on a 240V appliance, so unless you've done it before, get a caravan fitter to do it. They'll handle the opening, the seal, the ADB indoor panel and the wiring.
