Renogy 48V 50Ah self-heating explained
Lithium cells don't like charging below 0°C, and normally that means babysitting the shed on a frosty morning or risking damage to the cells. This battery handles it itself. Drop below freezing and an internal heater warms the cells before it'll accept a charge, then gets out of the way once you're back in range. You don't flick a switch or run a separate warmer.
