Starting watts and running watts: read both
This is the number people get wrong on every generator, so here it is plainly. Running watts is what it delivers continuously: 4,000W. Starting watts is the short burst while a motor spins up: 5,000W. Your fridge might run at 150W but pull 600W for a second when the compressor kicks in, which is why both figures exist. Add up your continuous loads against 4,000W, and check your biggest startup surge fits under 5,000W.
Why 25 litres changes how you use it
Most generators in this class carry 10 to 15 litres. This one carries 25, and at half load that gives you 18.7 hours. In practice it means you fill it in the morning and forget about it.
