How long the RTX 2000 runs off batteries
How long will it really go? Dometic quotes up to six hours. What you get comes down to your battery bank, how hot the night is and which mode you leave it in. Current draw runs from 5 amps at the low end to 30 amps flat out on 24V, which is a wide spread. Turbo pulls the cab down fast and costs you the most. Eco is what you leave it on overnight. Size your batteries around the run you want, not around the headline number.
What installing a truck parking cooler involves
The RTX 2000 drops into a roof hatch opening in your cab, and Dometic designed it around the openings most cabs already have.
