What actually kills a generator sitting idle
It isn't your running hours, it's the time in between. Moisture gets into your alternator windings and your control panel, dust packs into your air filter and cooling fins, and UV chalks the plastics and perishes your fuel lines. A generator that starts first go for you in April and won't turn over in October usually spent those six months uncovered.
