What 4,500 cycles actually buys you
A charge cycle is one full charge and discharge. At 4,500 cycles to 80%, this station still holds 80% of its original capacity after 4,500 of them. Cycle it once a day and that's more than twelve years before you'd notice much difference. Plenty of stations at this price quote 3,000 cycles or fewer, so if you're using it constantly rather than a few weekends a year, that gap is where your money goes further.
What 1,330Wh runs
Take a 60W camp fridge: on a full charge you're looking at roughly a day of it running flat out, and more in practice because a fridge cycles. Add your lights, phones and a laptop and a long weekend is comfortable. Where it stops is heat. A 2,000W kettle is beyond the 1,200W continuous rating, even with Power-Boost at 1,600W. Coffee is fine on a small machine. Boiling the kettle isn't.
Charging it in an hour
Flat to 80% in one hour on the 1,000W AC input is quick for a station this size, and it changes how you use it. There's no planning around a long charge the night before: plug it in while you pack and it's done. Off-grid, 400W of solar gets you a full charge in about 4.4 hours of good sun, which is a normal day's light in most of the country.
Power-Boost and what it's for
The rated output is 1,200W with a 2,400W surge for motors starting up. Power-Boost sits between the two, letting the station run continuously at up to 1,600W. That covers appliances that sit just above the normal limit rather than well beyond it, like a bigger toaster or a heat gun. It isn't a way to run a kettle and a microwave together, so add up your loads properly before you rely on it.
