There are three kits, and which one you need depends on your generator. 10-GN-N1-065 for 3.4kVA sets, 10-GN-N3-065 for 5.9kVA, 7kVA and 8kVA sets, and 10-GN-32MM-065 for 8kVA RCD sets only.

Which of the three kits do you need?
This is the only question that matters, and your model plate answers it. A 3.4kVA set takes 10-GN-N1-065. A 5.9kVA, 7kVA or 8kVA set takes 10-GN-N3-065. An 8kVA with an RCD takes 10-GN-32MM-065, and only that one, because the RCD frame is a different shape. Ordering by kVA alone isn't enough if you've got an RCD machine. Why a lifting bar beats slinging straps around the frame
Straps thrown around a generator find their own balance point, which is almost never the centre of gravity, so the machine tilts as it comes up. That tips fuel and oil, puts the load on parts that were never meant to carry it, and leaves a heavy thing swinging where people are working. A lifting bar gives you one designed point above the centre, so it lifts level and stays where you put it. That's the difference between a lift and an incident.
Where you'll actually use it
Most people buy one of these for a specific job and then never take it off. Getting a generator onto a truck tray or a ute without a ramp. Craning one onto a roof or a platform for a fitout. Dropping one into a plant room or a pit where there's no way to wheel it in. Once it's bolted on it stays there, adds almost nothing to the machine, and means the next lift is a two-minute job instead of a discussion about rigging.
Fitting it, and checking it before every lift
It bolts to designed points on the Gentech frame with basic spanners, which is a bench job rather than an install. What matters more is the habit afterwards: before every lift, check the bolts are still tight and the bar hasn't been knocked. A generator vibrates constantly when it runs, and vibration walks fasteners loose over time. Thirty seconds with a spanner before you hook up is the whole inspection.
Get your rigging right, not just your lifting point
The bar gives you a proper attachment point. It doesn't rate the rest of your setup. Use a shackle and sling suited to the weight of your machine with fuel in it, not what's lying in the ute, and keep people clear underneath while it's in the air.
