What 2,550W actually runs
Size your gear against 2,550W, not the 2,800W max. That's one tool at a time and a work light: a drill, an angle grinder, a small pump or a light-duty welder. It's post-hole work at the far end of the property, or a shed with the lights on and a charger going. What it isn't is a house on backup, or two trades working off one machine. If that's your job, you want the HY7000LEK at 5,000W instead.
Fifteen hours on a machine this small?
Fifteen litres in a 4kVA generator is a big tank for the size, and it's why Hyundai rate it at 15.6 hours at half load. Most machines this size carry six or seven litres and give you five or six hours. The practical difference: you fill it once in the morning, drive out to the fence line, and it's still going when you finish. Where fuel runs cost you a real chunk of the day, that's the spec that earns its keep.
What the AVR gives you out there
Automatic voltage regulation holds your output voltage steady as the load changes. On a farm that matters more than it does at a campsite, because a welder swinging in and out of duty cycle is exactly the kind of load that makes voltage dip and overshoot. AVR smooths that, which is easier on your welder and easier on any charger or control gear you plug in. What it isn't is the pure sine wave of an inverter, so keep sensitive electronics on something else.
