Blanket or framed panel: which do you want?
A blanket has no rigid frame and no kickstand. That's why it's 4kg instead of 8 or 10, and why it folds so small. The trade is setup: with a framed panel you unfold the legs and angle it at the sun in ten seconds. With a blanket you're laying it flat, draping it over your bonnet, or hanging it off your awning with the supplied straps. If your priority is packed size and weight, the blanket wins. If it's convenience and peak output, the framed panel does.
