This is where people get caught. A camper trailer that weighs 900kg empty can be well past 1,300kg once you've loaded water, gas, gear and a couple of jerry cans. The 1500RS handles trailers to 1,500kg, so weigh yours loaded or work it out honestly before you order. If you're anywhere near the number, the 2500RS G3 takes you to 2,500kg and it's the safer buy.

The bigger movers in the range weigh 35 to 40kg, which is a two-person lift and a job you think about before you start. This one is around 21kg, so you carry it out with one hand on the frame, drop it on, and put it away afterwards without help. If your mover lives in a shed rather than bolted permanently to the van, that difference is the whole experience.

At normal pace it moves about 7.5 metres a minute unloaded, which is deliberately slow: that's the speed you want when you're threading a trailer between a fence and the neighbour's boat. Speed-up roughly doubles it, to around 15.5m/min unloaded and 14m/min with the trailer on. Nobody needs that in a tight spot. What it saves you is standing there watching it crawl across an open yard or down a long driveway.

Most movers clamp motorised rollers onto your chassis rails and press them against the tyres. That works on a smooth driveway and struggles the moment you're on wet grass or loose gravel.
