Why your awning sags in the first place
Your awning is a sheet of fabric held tight at two ends and unsupported in the middle, so gravity does what gravity does. Add a bit of moisture and the sag deepens, then water finds the low spot and sits there. That's how a quiet night of rain ends with a pool of water heavy enough to bend your arm. It stows flat along your awning case or under a bunk, so it's no trouble to take out.
