The Owner's Insights on the Tidle Launch 4 Grain
The Launch 4 Grain is the inflatable pontoon I'd want behind my own boat. We built it after dozens of customer enquiries about what other docks were missing, and put every answer into this one.
Start with the V. It's lined with a rubber bumper right where your bow docks, so coming in a bit firm isn't something you need to worry about. Then the top: a woodgrain finish with two diamond non-slip pads, over 20cm of drop-stitch PVC. There's no EVA foam to fuss over, so it's easy to dry, store and look after. The materials are a step above what most manufacturers use, and you'll see it in the finish.

Tidle Launch 4 Grain pre-order: arriving early December
This one's on pre-order. Stock is due in early December, and your dock ships free from Braeside, Victoria once it lands. Call the store for the latest timing before you order, and you'll get a straight answer.
Using the Launch 4 as an inflatable boat dock
Tie the back edge to your bank or jetty post, so the V faces the water. Then bring your boat in bow first and let the nose settle into the V, where the rubber bumper takes the contact. Tie off at any of the eight D-rings and you've got a steady place to load your esky, your rods and your kids. The 1.92m mouth of the V is built for one boat, nosed in bow first.
Setting up your floating pontoon
Unroll it on the grass or the bank, clear of sticks and sharp rocks. Pump it up with the hand pump in the box, close the valve, and slide it in. Packing up is the reverse. Let it down, roll it up and it goes back in the carry bag with the pump and repair kit. At 18kg in a 105cm bag, it rides home in your ute tray next to the esky.
Launch 4 or Harbour Y: which size you need
One boat, and you want somewhere to sit with your feet in the water? The Launch 4 is the one. If you run two craft, say a boat and a jet ski, the 8.5m Harbour Y gives each its own berth. If you're unsure, the pontoon finder sorts it in two minutes.
