How long will it actually cool for?
Do the maths on the Mark 2's draw. On Sleep mode it pulls 120W, so 840Wh gives you around seven hours, which is a night's sleep on a hot one. On full it draws 240W, so you get about three and a half hours. That's your honest picture: one battery covers a night if you run it on Sleep, and covers an evening if you run it hard. If you want a full night on full cooling, or several nights between charges, you want a second battery.
Why the purpose-built battery beats a generic power station
The Mark 2 wants 24V, and this battery gives it 24V directly through the right connector. No inverter, no step-down, no conversion losses eating your capacity, and nothing for you to fumble with in the dark. A generic power station will run yours through the AC adapter, but you lose energy in the conversion and you're carrying two boxes and a lead instead of one slim pack. This uses 18650 lithium ion polymer cells rated for over 500 charge cycles. Charge yours every weekend of summer and you're looking at many years before capacity drops noticeably. It's a different chemistry to the LiFePO4 in the Mark 3 battery, which is rated much higher, but for seasonal use 500 cycles is plenty.
