Fifty-three minutes to 80% changes how you use it
Most power stations take four to eight hours to fill from flat. This one does 0 to 80% in 53 minutes off mains at 2,300W. In practice that means you top it up over lunch, or while you pack the car, or during the two hours you're plugged in at a caravan park mid-week. A station you can refill quickly is one you'll run down without worrying. A slow-charging one gets rationed.
Three thousand cycles and five years is the real value
Three thousand cycles to 80% capacity means charging and discharging it every single day for over eight years and still having most of the battery. What X-Boost actually does
X-Boost lets the station run resistive appliances that draw more than its rated output, up to 3,100W, by adjusting the voltage rather than refusing to start. That covers a lot of heaters, kettles and hairdryers that would otherwise trip a 2,400W inverter. It doesn't work for motors or anything with electronics in it, so treat it as a bonus for simple heating loads rather than a licence to plug in a compressor.
Expandable to 6kWh, when you're ready
It takes up to two extra batteries, which takes you from 2,048Wh to 6kWh. That's the difference between a long weekend and a week off-grid, or between backing up a fridge and backing up a house. DELTA 2 Max or DELTA 3 Max Plus?
Both hold 2,048Wh, so it comes down to output and charging. This one gives you 2,400W and 3,000 cycles with a five year warranty. The DELTA 3 Max Plus gives you 3,000W and expands further. If your list includes an induction cooktop or a big power tool, take the 3 Max Plus. If it's a fridge, lights, tools and charging, this one does the job and the warranty is longer.
