What 110W actually puts back
Rated output assumes ideal test conditions, so in real sun you'll see somewhere around 80 to 100W at the peak of your day. Over six useful hours that's roughly 500Wh, which keeps your phones, your camp lights and your laptop going indefinitely, or refills your small power station over a day. What it won't do is hold your camp fridge on its own through cloudy weather, or refill your big station. Two of them wired together doubles that and still weighs less than one rigid panel.
Why the case being the stand matters more than it sounds
A panel lying flat on your ground loses a real chunk of its output, because sunlight hits it at an angle instead of square on. Most folding panels answer that with a separate kickstand you leave at home, or nothing at all. Here the carry case unzips and props the panel at an adjustable angle, so the stand is the one thing you physically cannot leave behind. Re-aim it once around lunchtime and that alone is often worth more to you than buying a bigger panel.
IP68 is a step past what most folding panels claim
Most portable panels sit at IP65 or IP67, which covers rain and spray. IP68 means EcoFlow tested this one submerged under a metre of water for 72 hours under IEC 60529. You're not going to do that to it, and that's not the point. It means the seals and the junction box are built well past what your downpour or your hose-down asks of them, which is what decides whether your panel still works in year five. Let it dry before it goes in the case anyway.
Twenty-two point eight percent, and the number EcoFlow advertise
You'll see EcoFlow quote up to 23% for this panel and 22.8% in the manual, and both are right. The higher figure is the efficiency of the individual cells; the 22.8% is the whole panel, including the frame and the gaps between cells. Panel efficiency is the one that decides how big your panel has to be for 110 watts, and 22.8% is genuinely good. Cheap polycrystalline panels sit around 15 to 17%, which means a much bigger panel in your boot for the same output.
Will it plug into what you own?
MC4 is the industry standard connector, so it isn't locked to EcoFlow. At 21.8V open circuit and 6.5A short circuit it sits well inside the input range of nearly every power station and charge controller you'd own. If your unit takes XT60, Anderson or a DC barrel, the adapter is cheap.
