What the DELTA Pro 3 will run
You're working off 4,000W and 4,096Wh, which is about 3,700Wh usable after inverter losses. That's your fridge, freezer, modem, lights and a split system through an evening, or a full day if you're careful with the air conditioning. The 8,000W surge covers anything with a motor: a pump, a compressor, a fridge compressor kicking in. Stack it to 12kWh with extra batteries and you're through a multi-day outage rather than an evening.
Why this replaces a backup generator for a lot of people
A generator needs fuel, it needs to be outside, it makes 70 dBA, and someone has to go and start it. This makes 30dB at 2,000W, lives in the laundry, starts nothing, and switches over in 10 milliseconds so your gear never blinks. The Anderson and CEE sockets explained
Alongside four normal 230V outlets there's a CEE 16A socket and a 30A Anderson port. The CEE plug is the blue industrial socket you'll find on caravan park posts and job sites, so this connects to those directly. The Anderson gives you a proper high-current 12V connection for a van or 4WD setup rather than a cigarette lighter socket. Between them, it plugs into the sort of infrastructure a 4,000W unit actually gets used with.
